SANDY SIMPSON JOINS FMH BOARD OF DIRECTORS - 2009-08-03

Harlan Yates, President of the Fairfield Memorial Hospital Board of Directors has announced the addition of Sandy Simpson to the Hospital Board.  Mrs. Simpson replaces the vacancy left by Don Warkins, Ed.D.

In talking about her new role on the FMH Board of Directors, Simpson shared that she is excited about being part of a governing group who makes future plans in expanding something already spectacular.

“I am very humbled by this opportunity to give back to this hospital.  Fairfield Memorial has always provided excellent care to my family, and I want to make sure people know how great our hospital is today and how it is going to continue to grow in the future.  As a board member, I will make my decisions by what is best for this community as a whole.  This hospital has always put our community first in all their decisions to ensure a stable medical facility for our community, and I will echo those practices,” stated Simpson.

Simpson is the owner and operator of The Male Connection in downtown Fairfield.  She serves as a chamber merchant, is a member of Orchardville Church, and also serves as a volunteer with the local Literacy program.

 “As a business owner, I feel our hospital is instrumental in making business in this community successful,” added Simpson.
