FMH FOUNDATION 5TH ANNUAL GOLF SCRAMBLE A SUCCESS - 2009-08-17

Fairfield Memorial Hospital Foundation held its Fifth Annual Golf Scramble last week to raise funds to will help support the services, programs, and state-of-the-art medical equipment needs of the hospital.

 

Pat Kenshalo, President of the Fairfield Memorial Hospital Foundation, said, “We were very pleased with the funds raised for the Foundation.  We thank everyone for their generous sponsorship contributions and for participating in our Fifth Annual Golf Scramble.” 

 

The first place winner of the morning tournament was the Brenda Belangee Salon Team comprised of Blaith Belangee, Aaron Wallace, Eric Walker, and Josh Reed.  During the afternoon scramble first place went to defending champions, “The Good Ole Boys” (Larry Odum, Steve Dawkins, Eldon Doty, Doug Musgrave).  The individual golf contest winners included: Men’s Longest Drive – Blaith Belangee, Women’s Longest Drive – Sonya Gray, Closest to the Pin – Joel Horton, Longest Putt – Eric Walker, and Shortest Drive – Shawna Fry.  Lance Barbre won the 50/50 drawing worth $184.

 

Charlotte St.Ledger, FMH Foundation Executive Director, said, “We hope everyone enjoyed the event and invite everyone to participate again next year.”
