Senior Life Solutions
Fairfield Memorial Hospital Senior Life Solutions is an intensive outpatient program offered to help older adults with life’s challenges. We help seniors cope with depressed mood, unresolved grief, anxiety, nervousness, worry, isolation or loneliness, difficulty coping with health/physical changes, difficulty concentrating, sleep or appetite changes, feelings of hopelessness or helplessness, anger, low self-esteem, or personality changes.
Senior Life Solutions provides group, individual, and family therapy as well as medication management for behavioral health diagnosis. It provides transportation and a noon meal during the treatment day. We coordinate the patient’s care with the individual’s primary care physician. The program treatment usually lasts for 6-12 weeks (2-4 days per week), and provides follow-up care after discharge.
Your treatment team is multi-disciplinary in design to ensure the best quality patient care possible for those who trust us with their behavioral health needs. Along with the patient, family members, and the primary care physician, the team includes: Medical Director, Program Director, Primary Therapist, Nurse and Unit Clerk.
If you’d like to discover how to handle life’s challenges, keep your body strong and enjoy life once again, we can help.
