Physical Therapy Assistant

Nature Of Work:

Performs therapy treatments under the supervision of a Licensed Physical Therapist. Documents patient’s progress and follows treatment programs. Recommends treatment progression. Must have exceptional clinical skills and be willing to learn new skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential and be willing to work in fast paced settings, including Outpatient, Inpatient, Home Health, and Skilled Care. Must have excellent problem solving skills with a focus on strong critical thinking for optimal results for patient centered care.

Qualifications:

• Associate’s Degree required
• Current Illinois Physical Therapy Assistant licensure in the State of Illinois
• Long term care experience preferred, but not required
