- Required: Associates degree or certificate from an ACOTE-accredited OTA program. Current Illinois Occupational Therapist Assistant licensure.
- Preferred: Orthopedic and Long-Term Skilled Care experience.

NATURE OF WORK
Under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist provide skilled occupational therapy to patients from pediatric to geriatric. A qualified candidate must possess acute orthopedic inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation experience and be able to treat across multiple facets from home health, skilled/long term care, acute care and out-patient. The candidate must utilize effective and professional communication skills and thorough documentation and be able to work in a fast-paced setting. Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on strong critical thinking is a must to provide optimal patient centered care.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Implementing intervention plans, documenting patient progress, educating parents/families, and adapting activities.
