EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS: Licensed RN in Illinois, bachelor’s degree required.
EXPERIENCE: 1 year ED experience required, 1 year of leadership experience is preferred.

NATURE OF WORK: The Emergency Department Nurse manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day responsibilities of the Emergency Department. This position is responsible for the direction of the personnel involved in the provision of nursing within this department. The ED Nurse Manager collaborates with the CNO, other nursing leadership, and physicians for the implementation of policies, procedures, standards, and regulations for the department to facilitate optimal nursing care.
