EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be a graduate of an Accreditation for Respiratory Care approved program and must be licensed in the state of Illinois. Credentialed by the National Board of Respiratory Care. ACLS & PALS certification required within 1 year of hire date.
EXPERIENCE:
Preferred minimum of one (1) year experience.
SKILLS:
Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team; demonstrated strong communication and organizational skills.
NATURE OF WORK:
Administers respiratory care and life support to patients with deficiencies and abnormalities of the cardiopulmonary system. Performs diagnostic tests of the cardiovascular and pulmonary system to aid physicians in diagnosis and treatment of heart and lung disorders.
