    Director of Clinical Services
    Department: Nursing Administration
    Minimum Requirements:

    EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Registered Nurse with Active Illinois Nursing Licensure.
    • Bachelors Degree in Nursing or Healthcare Related Field.
    • Minimum Five Years Management Experience.

    EXPERIENCE:
    Project management experience preferred.

    SKILLS:
    Experience with electronic medical record charting. Excellent communication skills and proficiency with Windows, Microsoft Excel/PowerPoint and Office. Excellent customer service, organization skills, an understanding of care in the clinical setting, and ability to work effectively in stressful situations.

    ADDITIONAL:
    Excellent attendance, punctuality and work record required.

    NATURE OF WORK:

    The Director of Clinical Services is a transformational leader responsible for directing clinical service operations to achieve the highest quality clinical care and optimize the patient experience.

    Serving as a Senior Executive Leader, the Director of Clinical Services participates in administration on-call duties on a rotational basis to support department leaders, house supervisors, and front line staff to excel in their roles with foundational guidance driven by a culture of safety and patient centered standards. The Director of Clinical Services serves as direct report administrative representative for various clinical departments managing Providers, Department Managers/Supervisors, and other key clinical roles to optimize patient outcomes and patient satisfaction.

    Through community engagement/outreach, the Director of Clinical services strives to strengthen community relations for maximizing partnerships and collaborative efforts. The Director of Clinical Services focuses on evidence based practice guidelines and quality initiatives to support the optimization of clinical care through performance improvement metrics and goals. The Director of Clinical Services focuses on employee engagement, performance, and retention to support the organizational staffing structure for best patient outcomes and 1atisfaction.

    Collaborates with other Administrative Leaders in recruitment of Medical Staff and new speciality service arrangements to provide high quality, patient centered healthcare services to patients in rural area. Assumes a lead role in analyzing and exploring means of reducing clinical practice operating costs and increasing revenues based on knowledge of market trends, financial reports, and operating procedures to meet the financial objectives of the organization.
