FMH AUGUST CALENDAR OF EVENTS
FMH Foundation 17th Annual Golf Scramble to be held on August 5th:
Fairfield Memorial Hospital Foundation is gearing up for their upcoming 17th Annual Golf Scramble to be held on Friday, August 5th. The Golf Scramble is being held at the Wayne County Golf Course with 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. tee times. Entry fee for a four person team is just $200, which includes a participant gift from the Exclusive Sponsor, continental breakfast, and a delicious lunch. Team registration and/or sponsorship donations for the golf scramble can be secured by contacting Amy Marsh, FMH CFO/Foundation Executive Director at 618-847-8260.
3D Mammography Mobile Event in Cisne on August 6th:
Fairfield Memorial Hospital will bring their Mobile Mammography to Horizon Healthcare Cisne Medical Clinic located at 413 Park Street on Saturday, August 6th, with appointments beginning at 8:00a.m. No physician order needed for those who are over the age of 40. It must have been at least one year since your last Mammogram. Patients are asked to bring their insurance card, photo ID, and doctor’s contact information. This event is for annual screening Mammograms only. Individuals can call the FMH Diagnostic Imaging Department at 618-847-8249 to secure an appointment with one of FMH’s skilled technologists. Walk-Ins are also welcome until 11am. After 11am, patients will be seen by appointment only.
Blood Drive to be held on August 17th:
Fairfield Memorial Hospital will be hosting a blood drive for the public on August 17th. Give blood to save lives! The blood drive will take place from 10:30am-3:30pm at Fairfield Memorial Hospital’s Educational Annex Building 203 NW 10th Street. Coffee Club:
Fairfield Memorial Hospital’s Senior Life Solutions will hold the next Coffee Club from 9:30am – 10:30am on Thursday, August 18th. The Coffee Club will meet in the Fairfield Memorial Hospital Cafe and is open to anyone interested in attending. This is a great opportunity to get together with other people in the community in a social atmosphere. You do not have to be a participant in the Senior Life Solutions program to attend. Free blood pressure checks and refreshments will also be offered at the Coffee Club. We look forward to seeing you there! CPR Class:
Fairfield Memorial Hospital is offering CPR Certification to the public free of charge. The class will be held on August 31st from 9:00am – 1:00pm in the FMH Medical Arts Complex Education Rooms located at 213 NW 10th Street in Fairfield. For more information or to pre-register call 618-847-8243. Pre-registration is required as class size is limited. Attendees will be required to go thru the entrance screening and wear masks at all times unless otherwise instructed by the instructor.
FMH Horizon Healthcare Medical Clinics to offer School and Sport Physicals at all Clinics
Fairfield Memorial Hospital’s Horizon Healthcare Clinics in Fairfield, Cisne, Grayville, and Carmi will be offering school and sports physicals at no out of pocket expense to the public from June 1st through September 1st.
Fairfield Memorial Hospital’s Horizon Healthcare Clinics are located at:
- 213 NW 10th Street in Fairfield, IL
- 413 Park Street in Cisne, IL
- 319 W. Commerce Street in Grayville, IL
- 1103 W. Main Street in Carmi, IL
Call 618-842-4617 to schedule an appointment or for more information. Walk-ins are always welcome at all four locations! Fairfield, Cisne, and Carmi clinic locations are open Monday-Friday and accept walk-ins from 9am-4:30pm daily. Horizon Healthcare Grayville Medical Clinic is open Tuesday-Thursday from 9am-4:30pm and accepts walk-ins. You do not have to be a patient of Horizon Healthcare to take advantage of this special offer.
