    Fairfield Memorial Hospital (FMH) has been recognized by the American Heart Association (AHA) and American Stroke Association as a 2025 Get With The Guidelines® – Rural Stroke Silver Achievement Award Hospital, honoring the hospital’s commitment to providing high-quality, evidence-based stroke care to patients in a rural setting.

    The Rural Stroke Silver Achievement Award recognizes hospitals that demonstrate consistent adherence to nationally recognized, research-based treatment guidelines for stroke care, helping ensure patients receive the most appropriate and effective treatment to improve outcomes.

    The American Heart Association’s Get With The Guidelines® program helps hospitals nationwide apply the most up-to-date, evidence-based guidelines in treating patients with cardiovascular disease and stroke. Hospitals earning the Rural Stroke Silver designation meet specific performance measures that demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement in stroke care and patient outcomes.
