FMH Welcomes Samantha Sisco, APN, FNP-C, WCC, as Leader of Wound Care Clinic
Fairfield Memorial Hospital is pleased to announce that Samantha Sisco, Advanced Practice Nurse (APN), Family Nurse Practitioner-Certified (FNP-C), Wound Care Certified (WCC), has joined the organization and will lead its Wound Care Clinic. A highly skilled and compassionate provider, Sisco brings extensive experience in family practice, case management, and specialized wound care.
Sisco is a Board Certified National Alliance of Wound Care and Ostomy (NAWCO) Clinician (WCC), demonstrating advanced expertise in wound management and a strong commitment to delivering evidence-based care. In her new role, she will oversee the hospital’s Wound Care Clinic, providing comprehensive evaluation, treatment, and management of acute and chronic wounds.
Sisco earned her Post-Master Family Nurse Practitioner certification from Purdue Global University and holds a Master of Science in Nursing with a focus in Public Health from Grand Canyon University. She also obtained her Associate of Science in Nursing from ITT Technical Institute and her Bachelor of Science in Health Services/Health Administration from the University of Southern Indiana.
She most recently served as a Family Nurse Practitioner at Total Care Family Practice, where she assessed, diagnosed, and treated patients across the lifespan, with a strong emphasis on improving quality of life and coordinating care across healthcare settings. Her prior experience includes roles as a Registered Nurse Case Manager with Horizon Health Care, where she provided in-home care including wound management, and as a Charge Nurse at a rehabilitation hospital, caring for patients with complex medical needs.
The Wound Care Clinic at Fairfield Memorial Hospital offers specialized care for patients with non-healing wounds, utilizing advanced treatments and a multidisciplinary approach to promote healing and improve outcomes.
